Cottage Charm May 2009 Giveaway

***************This post will stay on top until the giveaway ends. Please scroll down for newer posts.***************

I am joining for the first time the Cottage Charm Giveaway, hosted by Kim at One Woman's Cottage Life.

I am offering this beautiful and unique CHUNKY silvertoned cross pendant. This piece is loaded with bright tones of mainly aquas and lime greens with a splash of other shades as well. Perfect for a summer outfit. I have stacked over 100 beads and Swarovski crystals in different shapes and sizes onto a silvertoned metal cross. I then embellished it further with a silvertoned heart decorated with crystals and beads. This piece measures 3" wide x 2" wide x 1" high and weighs 4 ounces. This will arrive to you in a coordinating organza bag.

You know the way it's done.... The giveaway ends on May 29, and a name will be drawn on the 30 . So, if you like this OOAK Cross, leave a comment along with your email address. Then click on the link above to be taken to Kim's blog, where you'll find many more lovely giveaways. AND...click on follow my blog on the sidebar or add my blog link to your blog list by May 28 by 11:59 central time for another entry into the drawing.

Join the giveaway fun this month!

Hugs to all and Good Luck!!

Kool-Aid is Kool!!

Who woulda thunk?
Original purpose: Quenching your thirst.
Aha! Use: Cleaning lime deposits and iron stains inside the dishwasher. Pour a packet of lemonade Kool-Aid (the only flavor that works) into the detergent cup and run the (empty) dishwasher.
Reward: Citric acid in the mix wipes out stains; you don't have to.
I ran my dishwasher with a few dishes in it (too lazy to take them out first) and my glassware was sparkling...better than I have ever seen them and I just had 2 packets of Lemonade Kool-Aid in it. I am impresssed!!
