This recipe is for BLT Dip w/ toast points. This is my boyfriend, John's recipe. It is always requested and goes fast! Had to make this for a birthday party tonight, so thought I would share this recipe with all my blogging friends.
BLT Dip
- 1 1/2 c Mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 c Sour cream
- 1 1/2 c tomatoes (seeded and diced)
- 1 lb bacon (cut in small pieces and fried to a crisp)
- Bacon drippings
- Bread (any type of will do, toasted or soft. We sometimes use pita bread cut in wedges)
Let bacon/drippings cool down completely. Add 1st 3 ingredients to bacon and mix thoroughly (reserve 2Tbls each of bacon and tomatoes for garnish). Pour into a bowl and garnish. This is really delicious and taste just like a BLT samdwich! Taste best if you make at least 1 hour ahead to marry the flavors.
Have a great Saturday!
Warm Hugs,
Linda
