My Old/New Chandy

I bought this vintage chandelier on Craigslist about 6 months ago....cleaned it up and painted it red. All of the original prisms were in tact. It sat in the corner of the dining room ever since. Today my DH surprised me and put it up!! Little did he know, I had to add a sleeve and the ceiling medallion (old frame) first. I will redo it next week while he is gone. I didn't have the heart to tell him!! Isn't it sparkly and beautiful? I have a before pic somewhere .

Warm Hugs,
Linda

Very pretty chandelier and a sweet husband to put that up for you. I have one that is very similar in color in my kitchen.

Happy Met Monday!

I had not thought of painting a chandy red. I love red (just look at the name of my blog). What a great idea.

I love that you painted it red, instead of a more conventional color. Looks beautiful.
