Just Had To Have These! Fantastic Bargain!!

Well, I went to Target to buy some garden stuff...left with these instead! Weren't my colors...had no clue what I would do with them....but had to have them! Why, you ask! ? There were 2 absolutely 2 great reasons why...according to moi!! First, they were on sale...sale....sale....sale....and on sale again! I couldn't resist the 25....50...75...75...75% off! I paid less than $3 each for $25 pillows!!! All with down filled inserts. Second, well, I can't buy down filled pillow inserts for that much at the fabric store! Let alone the beautiful fabrics (linen) and make them for that much!!

Turned out, when I got home...they did match..the darker pinks, look more red...(see the tablecloth I have next to them on the top photo)...so on my back porch they went ....at least for the summer...then, I will make some fallish ones and replace the covers. They have quickly become my favorite thing! At least for now. They also have a runner to match, but it wasn't on sale..still $17.99...so I will wait and watch for that baby!!

Target Birdies on Holiday!

This morning I woke up to the tune of "How Much is That Kitty In the Window"....only to find that Fred and Ginger had danced on into the sun room and was playing the piano!! How nice it was to wake up to such lovely music!

Once, they were done playing the piano, they flew out the door and rushed right over to the bird feeder and had some breakfast. Then, they went over to the front entrance where they found my container water garden and drank and splashed in the fresh running water to their hearts delight!

Then, it was off to visit friends for the day. They first stopped off at Dusty and Musty's to see how the new babies were doing. They were just born a week ago. After hearing they were doing great, they flew on over to Maggie and Harold's place to see what they were up to.

After a long afternoon visiting friends, it was time to go back home and feed their little ones and sit on their own nest for a while.

This has certainly been a very long day, so Fred and Ginger decided to take a dip in the hot tub and relax their aching feathers, then on over to take a well desrved nap in the hammock before heading back home to the little ones.

Fred and Ginger wanted to thank Between Naps on The Porch for hosting such a lovely vacation. It was long overdue and they needed a break!!
