I found these and had to have them. They are transferware toilet water bottles. I have never seen these so I knew they needed to come home with me. Aren't they the neatest?!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday!

Porch Magazine....

My Porch magazine arrived the other day and can you believe I actually laid it aside and forgot about it? But what a treat when I came across it while rearranging my rooms. If you haven't seen this magazine yet, you need to, as it is all about the wonderful women who blog and have businesses. Porch was started solely to promote bloggers and their businesses. It's limited to "Eye Candy" and that's such a nice break from all the advertising and articles in those "other magazines". You will truly get your money's worth! Stay tuned for a Special Give-a-way this month.

By the way, the conservatories in the photo above are made by Linda at Linda's Blue Gate. She is such a wonderful lady to deal with, as I have bought a few of her goodies such as the beautiful handkerchief lamp and bell cloches. Shipped promptly and arrived without a scratch. You don't have to go to Canton...I just found them on her blog and commented that I wanted them! Thanks Linda!

Where Are The Days Going?

Well, I thought I would be able to get to my blog daily...okay, well at least weekly. But there is so much to do and the days seem to be getting shorter and shorter.

I have been painting the inside of my house. Rich buttery walls with pure white trim. It looks so fresh and clean. I didn't take before pictures, as usual. I am always just diving into new projects and the camera is NEVER around. I also found two wonderful shabby pieces that will go perfectly in the dining area. See the pictures below. I am still working on filling the cabinet and playing around. It won't look the same tomorrow!

Now, my new project (in between all the house painting) is to remake and paint a console I found on Craigslist. Yesterday I took the drawers out (to be repurposed at a later date), removed the legs and gutted it. Today I will attempt to smooth out the carved wood in front. It doesn't work in the design I will be painting it in, so I'll have to redo it (it won't come off after many wacks with a hammer...hehehe).

So High ho high ho...it's off to work I go...yadda...yadda.yadda.
